Pinnacle farewell

Pinnacle farewell

Margaret and Oliver from the Pinnacle Stores in Breedon on the Hill have announced their retirement from the 16th November.

They have been running the stores and Post Office for over 20 years during this time they have been a major part of village life and probably know almost everyone in our Parish.

They plan to take more holidays and spend time tending their garden and allotment.

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location. A road closure is required on Nottingham Road between Burney Lane and Long Hedge Lane on the 26th November 2019 for one day between 09:00 and 15:00.

Remembrance Service - Sunday 10th November.

There will be a Church service at 9.45am, then a short service will be held on the village green, around the War Memorial, at 10.45am. Everyone is very welcome to attend, to either or both services. Hot drinks will be available on the village green from 10.30am courtesy of the WI with all donations being given to the RBL poppy appeal.
