Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location. A road closure is required on Tonge Lane on the 19th August 2022 for one day. Disruption to all recycling and waste collections

Disruption to all recycling and waste collections

NWLDC crews tried exceptionally hard to keep waste collections running yesterday (Tuesday 19 July), but with the heat they struggled, and their health and wellbeing is the main priority.

Whilst some collections had been completed yesterday, our crews will return on Saturday (23 July), when it's expected to be much cooler, to complete the collections.
