The above information will give you advice on preparing for flood and for coping during and after a flood.

It also gives advice on products that can be purchased to protect your property in advance – having these measures in place will reduce the risk to yourself, property and belongings.

Drains, ditches and water run-off are issues across the county and need addressing with high priority. Your Parish Council and local volunteers are working behind the scenes to produce a final resilience plan. This includes partnership working with Leicestershire County Council Flood and Highways Dept. and North West Leicestershire District Council.
