NWLDC - Key Points

  • Parks and open spaces are to remain open
  • Waste services are to continue as normal
  • No change to our customer services – essential face to face appointments only. Telephone and email contact prioritised
  • No changes to car parks or car park enforcement
  • Public toilets to remain open
  • Homelessness/rough sleeper support to continue

Community support
NWLDC community support offer is still up and running as it has been since earlier this year for vulnerable people that need to reach out for help.

Business support
The Government recently announced there will be further funding to support businesses that are forced to close due to the one-month national lockdown beginning on Thursday 5 November.

The district council is currently working as quickly as possible alongside partners to set up this scheme locally and as soon as it is available information on how to apply will be made available on business support pages.
