Simon with his wife Vanessa has lived in Breedon for 20 years and before that Osgathorpe for 10 years. He grew up in Castle Donington and went to school in Loughborough. Simon is one of the team who created "Hand me down hearsays" and has a great affinity for local history. He was managing director of a locally based hire company for twenty five years and retired when he and his brother sold the company. In his second term as a councillor, Simon looks forward to leading the team of councillors in making a significant contribution to the parish over the current term.
